Uhoh, There still has to be special act legislation to enable each school district, such as what the old MCS had. Under the lawsuit that was brought by David Pickler, et al, the ruling only applied to the constitutional aspects of the merger, transition and delay.

It is much more boring than the other topics you wrote about, but I can't let the very misleading way that the county trustee reports the school portion of the county tax rate go by without a comment. The late Bob Patterson started reporting that breakdown of the tax rate between city and county schools and I could never understand why he did it.
